POST OP LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE & LED
Are you due to undergo or recently had surgery or liposuction?
This is a specialised treatment combining the gentle yet powerful effects of manual lymphatic drainage to reduce swelling and inflammation, with the added benefit of LED light therapy using evidence-based, clinically proven wavelengths delivered at a skin-enhancing intensity and dose to activate cellular renewal and repair. Fuelling the manufacture of collagen and elastin. The perfect post op combination.

Lymphatic Drainage massage has also been shown to assist in preparing the body for surgery, removing extra-cellular waste, increasing the production of white blood cells and decreasing the risk of infection, all of which can lead to improved outcomes for your surgery.

Post-operatively it can significantly reduce edema, bruising, pain and scarring, and due to it’s gentle pressure, treatment can be started soon after your surgery, usually within the first 2 weeks, with your surgeon's approval.

All lymphatic drainage treatments are tailored to you. A full history will be taken at all initial treatments so that I can get a clear understanding of your health and any concerns you may have. Lymphatic drainage, although gentle, can be a powerful treatment, your comfort and safety are always my main concerns.

If you're feeling unwell, or are experiencing any symptoms of infection post surgery, such as redness, heat, pain or localised swelling lymphatic drainage is NOT recommended and you should contact your care team, doctor or surgeon immediately for assessment.
