If you spend any time on Instagram, and who doesn't right? Then you've probably seen countless clips of people rubbing their glowing faces with a funny shaped crystal, extolling the lymphatic drainage boosting benefits of this amazing treatment. Well there's a reason for all that buzz, GuaSha really works and it's withstood the test of time, around 700 years by some estimations, so we can safely say that it's not some new passing fad. Although, the renewed interest in it is probably a lot more recent.

The technique is rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and was used as far back as the Ming Dynasty where it was used to unblock and restore the flow of Qi in the area to which it has been applied. There are various applications, including muscular tension and stagnation, usually with heavier pressure, leaving red bruises and marks on the treated areas.

In terms of beauty, and specifically lymphatic drainage it's a very gentle treatment, where the stones are applied over the face in light, rhythmic movements with nourishing oils added for slip, jade rollers are also used along with silicone cups, to really boost your results.

Our Facial GuaSha treatment specifically targets your lymphatics, improving circulation and flooding your face with goodness, reducing puffiness and the appearance of fine lines. The upward strokes provide a light workout for your facial muscles, leaving your face appearing lifted and firmer with a gorgeous dewy glow. The jade roller also assists with absorption, so all those nutrients in the products used during your treatment get straight to work under the skin. Seriously, what’s not to love?

I know what you’re thinking, how do I get me some of this? Well, simply book in for our supercharged lymphatic facial and let me do the rest :0)
