All lymphatic drainage treatments are tailored to you.  A full history will be taken at all initial treatments so that I can get a clear understanding of your health and any concerns you may have.  Lymphatic drainage, although gentle, can be a powerful treatment, your comfort and safety are always my main concerns.

If you're feeling unwell, lymphatic drainage is not recommended in the acute stage as your immune system will be fighting the infection/illness. Please reschedule or wait until you feel better.  If you have any questions, please get in touch.

• Congestive Heart Failure

• Malignant Tumours

• Kidney Disease

CONTRAINDICATIONS TO LED

• Epilepsy or Seizures triggered by light

• Poryphyria

• Lupus Erythematous

• Polymorphic Light Eruption

• Photosensitive Eczema

• Hypomelanism (Albinism)

• Active Cancers

• Taking Auranofin & Azathioprine for Arthritis

 

PRECAUTIONS 

• Pregnancy

• Eye Disease and conditions

• Light induced migraines

• Use of St John's Wort

• Recent introduction of new skin care

• Under 16 years old

LIST OF MEDICATIONS​

The use of certain medications can induce photosensitivity to LED and should not be taken for 5 days before treatment:

• Antibiotics

• Chemotherapy

• Methotexate

• Neuroleptic & Anti Psychotic

• Anti-Arrhythmic & Heart Conditions

• Isotretinoin

• Roaccutaine

• NSAID's - Naproxen & Celecoxib
